Exploring The Lakeland Fells…
A great hike when you’re in the village of Patterdale is up to the summit of St Sunday Crag. This is a steady hike that isn’t too strenuous but offers a great deal in return.
On a good day you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area including Grisdale, Deepdale and the Helvellyn range.

You start from the village and head up the beautiful valley of Grisdale following the coast-to-coast route until you get to Grisdale Tarn. From the tarn you then head up to the top of St Sunday Crag via Deepdale Hause.
